UNLISTED FOR RULER. RIC lists similar coin for Maximian Herculius (CARTHAGO 45; Museum of Fine Arts Boston, no. 59.495, 20.11 g, 33 mm; rev. from the same die).

General note from p. 418: "The striking and unique 4-aureus multiple for Herculius with Marti Conserv Augg et Caes N, styles him Imp... Sen Aug, and therefore falls late". Probably minted in autumn of 307. Note also rare titulature in obverse legend known only from few multiples minted at the same time in Rome (cf. ROME 167, 173 and 173).

Not listed in Depeyrot. Listed in Partinico Hoard (p. 176, no. 172). Listed in Drost (p. 281, no. 7). Should be listed in RIC after CARTHAGO 45.
