REVERSE

SOLIINVIC-TOCOMITI [SOLI INVICTO COMITI]; Sol stg. l., chlamys falling from l. shoulder, r. raised, l. holding globe close to body, turned inwards. T in left field, F in right field. PLN in exergue.

REVERSE VARIETY. Specimen similar to LONDINIUM 122 except for Sol holding globe close to body. Listed in Saint-Colombier-en-Sarzeau Hoard (p. 82, no. 2972). Listed in Cloke-Toone together with LONDINIUM 122 (6.02.011) as a minor variety. However, this rev. type usually constitutes a separate issue or sub-issue (cf. ROMA 324-330b, 339-340, OSTIA 83-88), which should be listed after LONDINIUM 127.
