UNLISTED BUST TYPE. Not attested for obv. legend 1a (p. 124). RIC lists only similar type seen from rear (bust type C). Listed in Cloke-Toone (1.03.002). Should be listed in RIC before LONDINIUM 7.

NOTES

Diameter 27.5 mm. Plate coin in Cloke-Toone. Style described in Cloke-Toone Supplement 1 as 'Allectan'. Ex Spink auction 8006 (lot 1174), March 2008. Sold on CNG eAuction 204 (lot 295) in February 2009 for USD 570 [lot of 7 coins].
