UNLISTED ISSUE. RIC lists this issue only for Constantine as Augustus (LUGDUNUM 244-245; p. 260). This specimen proves that it was started earlier, before Constantine's elevation. See also footnote 5 on p. 258: "Maur. ii, p. 79, erroneously attributes to the Caesars fuller -NOB C legend". Possibly Maurice have seen this type. Listed in Bastien Lyon (294-316) (p. 232, no. 452). Coin should be listed in RIC before LUGDUNUM 236.
