GENIOPOPV-LIROMANI [GENIO POPVLI ROMANI]; Genius stg. l., head towered, chlamys over l. shoulder and loins draped with himation, r. holding patera, l. cornucopiae. S in left field, F in right field. PTR in exergue.

REVERSE VARIETY. Specimen similar to TREVERI 582a except for Genius with loins draped with himation instead of chlamys over l. shoulder only. Cf. footnote 2 on p. 199 to TREVERI 573: "Specimen in the A.N.S. shows Genius wearing himation round loins instead of chlamys on l. shoulder". Note also coin minted for Galerius Maximian from the same rev. die.
