RIC VII, ARLES [after 264], CONSTANTINE I, UNLISTED REVERSE [IRREGULAR COIN]

OBVERSE

CONSTAN-TINVSAVG [CONSTANTINVS AVG]; head r., laur.

REVERSE

PROVIDEN-TIAEAVGG [PROVIDENTIAE AVGG]; gateway with four turrets, no star, no doors, varying number of stone layers. T*AR in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED REVERSE. Specimen similar to ARLES 264 except for four turrets on rev. instead of two. Coins with four turrets have always different rev. legend: VIRTVS AVGG (or CAESS). Apparently an ancient imitation. Could be mentioned after ARLES 264.
