OBVERSE

VRBS-ROMA [VRBS ROMA]; bust l., helmet with plume (see CORRIGENDA, VOL. VII, p. 88), wearing imperial cloak.

REVERSE

She-wolf stg. l., suckling twins; two stars above. Third star between them. SCONST in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

MINTMARK VARIETY. Specimen similar to ARLES 351 which has star in m.m., not between two stars above She-wolf. Listed in Ferrando (p. 218, no. 957). Should be listed in RIC before ARLES 351.

NOTES

Weight 2.60 g; diameter 17-18 mm. Coin sold on VCoins (Victor's Imperial Coins) for USD 175.
