OBVERSE

IMPLICINIVSPFAVG [IMP LICINIVS P F AVG]; bust r., laur., dr., cuir.

REVERSE

SOLIINV-I-CTOCOMITI [SOLI INVICTO COMITI]; Sol stg. l., fold of chlamys spread under l. arm, globe in l. hand, raising r. hand. TARL in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED FOR RULER. RIC lists this type of rev. only for Constantine I (p. 237). Note that description in RIC could be misleading. The "fold of chlamys" sometimes means chlamys which Bruun usually describes as "flying under l. arm" (e.g. ARLES 19-20). There is also no mention about globe in l. hand and raised r. hand. For comparison, see picture of ARLES 42 (similar rev. but Sol with chlamys across l. shoulder). Listed in Ferrando (p. 144, no. 556). Should be listed in RIC after ARLES 39.
