UNLISTED BUST TYPE. RIC lists single example of this issue with bust type B [bust r., laur., cuir.]. Apparently Sutherland has not seen this specimen and the description was taken from Gnecchi [cited after Maurice, with wrong pagination]. The present specimen was described by Kumpikevicius [Kumpikevicius, C. G., "Constantine I, Restitutor Romae: a confirmation of a historic coin type", Hekte 1997, vol. 3, pp. 61-64] as identical with Gnecchi's coin, i.e. "Laureate, cuirassed bust of Maximinus II rt." (p. 61). Such descripton is undoubtedly incorrect. However, it is still possible that also description in RIC is wrong and in fact both specimens are actually identical. Coin should be listed after OSTIA 82.
