DIOCLETIA-NVSPFAVG [DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG]; bust r., laur., dr., cuir., seen from rear.

REVERSE

IOVICONS-ERVATORI [IOVI CONSERVATORI]; Jupiter seated l. on throne, r. holding thunderbolt, l. leaning on sceptre; to l., eagle with wreath in beak. PR in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED ISSUE. Many types with m.m. PR are omitted in RIC V/2 and RIC VI. There is a very slight possibility that some of them were minted after Reform. Also, others were added here for comparison.

Note that so far two different rev. legend breaks are attested: S-E and I-CONS-E, which could make in RIC two separate entries (cf. TREVERI 802 and 807 or SISCIA 61 and SISCIA 62).

Listed in Depeyrot (p. 81, no. 5B/2; rev. legend breaks I-CONS-E). Coin could be listed before ROMA 5a.
