NOT IN RIC	UNLISTED ISSUE. Not attested in RIC. Listed in Cohen, vol. VI, p. 469, no. 482; this coin but rev. legend given as VICTORIAE AVGG. However, as RIC mentions: "Pink, N.Z. 1931, p. 55, noted the falseness of Coh. 482 at Florence" (footnote 2 on p. 457). This unusual legend (an engraver's error?) also supports Pink's opinion. Not listed in Depeyrot. Listed in Firenze XIII (p. 34, no. 113) with rev. legend given after Cohen. Should be regarded as a forgery. For prototype cf. SISCIA 56 (argenteus, Glendining October 1951, lot 14, 2.79 g; cited in RIC).
