REVERSE	IOVICONS-ERVATORIAVGG [IOVI CONSERVATORI AVGG]; Jupiter stg. l., chlamys across l. shoulder, leaning on sceptre, holding Victory on globe. Star in left field, I in right field. ANT in exergue.
NOT IN RIC	UNLISTED FOR RULER. RIC lists this type only for Licinius I (p. 680). General note from p. 668: "Constantine is relatively equally represented in all these series. The same reverse was, however, continued in a new and very rare mark , the only obverse of which was the Licinian one. The conclusion that this mark was issued during Civil War I is unavoidable". Also in footnote 24 on p. 680 Bruun claims that "this type was very likely struck during Civil War I in 316 and should, therefore, actually precede the gold issue of 317". Coins minted for Constantine I invalidate this hypothesis. Coin should be listed before ANTIOCH 24.
