OBVERSE

FLDELMATI-VSNOBCAES [FL DELMATIVS NOB CAES]; bust r., laur., dr., cuir.

REVERSE

GLOR-IAEXERC-ITVS [GLORIA EXERCITVS]; two soldiers, helmeted, stg. front, looking at each other; each holds spear and rests hand on shield; between them, one standard. Annulet on standard. PCONST in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED FOR RULER. RIC lists this rare issue only for Constantine II, Constantius II and Constans (p. 278). Note, however, that the sign on standard is not very clear. It could be very small and obliterated cross like on ARLES 406 (David D. coll., 2.03 g, 16 mm).

Not listed in Ferrando. Should be listed in RIC after ARLES 414.
