REVERSE	PRINCIPIA-V-VENTVTIS [PRINCIPIA VVENTVTIS (sic!)]; Mars stg. l., naked but for helmets and boots, chlamys across l. shoulder, leaning on shield, holding vertical spear reversed. P in right field. Q[star over crescent]A in exergue.
NOT IN RIC	REVERSE LEGEND VARIETY. Specimen similar to ARLES 172 except for VVENTVTIS in rev. legend instead of IVVENTVTIS. Apparently an engraver's error.
