SPES-PVBLIC [SPES PVBLIC]; rev. legend across field; labarum, with three medallions on drapery and crowned by Christogram, pierces serpent. CONS in exergue.

MINTMARK VARIETY. Specimen similar to CONSTANTINOPLE 19 except for absence of officina letter in left field. Note, however, that this type is a modern FORGERY; but rather poorly made and crude.
