GLOR-IAEXERC-ITVS [GLORIA EXERCITVS]; two soldiers stg. facing one another, holding reversed spear and resting hand on shield; between them two standards. *PLG in exergue.

REVERSE LEGEND VARIETY. Specimen similar to LYONS 263 except for rev. legend breaks GLOR-IAEXERC-ITVS instead of GLORI-AEXER-CITVS. For this issue such difference makes a new entry in RIC (cf. LYONS 261 and LYONS 262). Listed in Bastien Lyon (318-337) (p. 181, no. 250). Note that Bastien lists under this number only officina P. Officina S is listed separately (p. 183, no. 256). Should be listed in RIC before LYONS 263.
