RIC VII, TRIER [before 586], CONSTANTINE I, UNLISTED MINTMARK [IRREGULAR COIN]

OBVERSE

CONSTANT-INVSMAXAVG [CONSTANTINVS MAX AVG]; bust r., laur., dr., cuir.

REVERSE

GLOR-IAEXERC-ITVS [GLORIA EXERCITVS]; two soldiers together holding one standard with drapery. PTR in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED MINTMARK. RIC lists for Gloria... issue with one standard only m.m. TRP and •TRP•. Note a rather clumsy style, "ligature" AV in obv. legend and a very light weight. Apparently an ancient imitation. Could be mentioned in footnotes before TRIER 586.
